Sensei Patrick Jones, a former student of Shihan Cummins under NAKMAS, continues to train under Sensei Austin Birks 6th Dan at Enso Shotokan Karate Club within the TSKA (Traditional Shotokan Karate Association). Patrick has trained for many years alongside Sensei Richard Amuzu at Enso SKC and regularly took classes their when Sensei Birks was unable to attend gaining valuable teaching experience before joining Birmingham & Weoley Castle Shotokan Karate as a permanent instructor where he has continued to flourish.
After being awarded 1st Dan under Shihan Cummins in 2010, Patrick progressed to 2nd Dan under Sensei Austin Birks 6th Dan in 2019, and 3rd Dan in 2022 under Sensei Peter Manning 8th Dan.
Patrick, A NAKMAS registered senior instructor since May 2024, regularly teaches at the Kenshin SKC Dojo with a keen focus on Dojo etiquette, and self-improvement.
